Loading...Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Stef Lang and her five-piece pop/rock band will be catching your attention, if they haven’t already. The 21-year old songstress recently released her debut full-length album, THE UNDERDOG, digitally distributed through Universal/Hipjoint Music. Stef Lang is half Filipino and we’re really excited to see her live in concert in Edmonton on Tuesday September 07, 2010 8PM @ The Haven Social Club!
Her hit single “Mr. Immature” has reached the Canadian Top 20 in radio at both CHR and HotAC formats, in addition, landed the #7 spot on the Billboard Chart – Canadian Emerging Artist.

The album features co-writes with Hawksley Workman and Hipjoint’s Mike James, Troy Samson and Rob Wells (Backstreet Boys) and was recorded at Hipjoint Productions (www.hipjointproductions.net) in Vancouver, B.C.
That’s not all this driven artist has accomplished. The music video for her single is currently in rotation on Much More Music and was shot in New York. She has also been keeping good company with U.S. record labels, writing for Atlantic Records and showcasing for CEO, L.A. Reid at Island Def Jam Records.
Stef signed a publishing deal with Nettwerk One (Sarah McLachlan, Avril Lavigne)/ H-Songs and performed for a large, international delegation of film industry professionals at the Canadian Music Cafe (www.canadianmusiccafe.com) during the Toronto International Film Festival, this past fall.
