Loading...Fibertel Communications, an industry leader specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of structured cable systems, currently has openings for Entry Level Cable Installers to join our dynamic team.
Working on various job-sites and under the leadership of a senior technician, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of network cabling, coaxial lines and fiber optic cabling.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install coaxial cable, fiber optic cable and related networking components.
- Perform system tests using various test equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair communications systems.
- Maintain test equipment and tool supplies for continuous use.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Highly motivated individual, self starter
- Ability to work indoors as well as outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Applicant’s must have a valid driver’s license/own vehicle
- Some travel required
- Previous experience an asset
